Process, water treatment, textile and cleaning chemicals — supplied with the classification, safety data and handling the category requires by law.
Chemicals are the category where getting the paperwork wrong costs more than getting the price wrong. Every line is classified, every line carries a safety data sheet, and a drum that arrives without the right documents does not clear — it sits, accruing storage, while a substitute is bought at spot price.
Industrial chemicals are one of the division's named focus markets, alongside mechanical, electrical and instrumentation products and safety equipment. Textile processing is the largest single source of demand in Bangladesh, and it is the demand this sourcing is built around.
Dangerous goods classification, packing group, UN number and the transport declaration are settled before the order is placed rather than at the port. Where a line is hazardous the freight is booked as hazardous from the start, which is considerably cheaper than establishing it at the terminal gate.
